Report:

After only hearing a few days before Sunday that the show was to start at 10 instead of 12 meant show cars (and me) had to be there from 9! Trust me, on a Sunday morning that is hard work!

Anyway we were all set, I was meeting up with Dave, Geoff, Milso, Wee Balls and Pete Jennings at LIDL's car park then heading over to the show. Pete drove like a granny and Geoff didn't show so we were a little late heading off but we made good time! My next stop was Boucher road to meet Lappy, Lee, Mc Giveryn and the boy in the Baleno. We all finally met up at Carnology at around 9:45 (not too bad really!)

So the show got under way with stands from a lot of clubs and websites including MaxedNi, Just Cruizin, RMS, Jon44w Shagan and SQDesign. I had a walk round about 12ish and there were some gorgeous motors on show - Gavins Lexus IS200 really stuck out for me for some reason and ended up winning the car of the show!

Other cars which really caught my eye were the Orange RX7 on the BC stand, Garys mrk6 Fiesta from In Car Audio, Morettos Civic Type R on the JC stand (its just gorgeous) and the black polo with wide arches and HUGE chrome dishes - lovely looking motor!

Eventually the SPL started and Dave (our project car) was on for this - he went down to the tent and managed a strong 145.5 but wasnt happy as a few weeks back managed 147db! His second run went more according to plan and he got a massive 146.3 which secured him a solid third place behind Gary (who has about 6,000 subs or something silly, well infact he only has three very powerful ones!) and Stuarty Patrick in his Ibiza. Unfortunatley for Dave at the prize giving there was only 1st and 2nd prizes so he has nothing to show from it!

I walked back up to the ModifiedNi stand and just thought it looked class - we defo had the best overall stand - a big thank you to the following:

Wee Balls
Pete
Lappy
Mark
Baleno man (sorry cant remember your name!)
Leec(MG)
Lee (Teg)
Milso
Nigel
Dave

The stand looked great guys so lets hope we can do it again only bigger and better!

The show came to a close at around 4pm after prize giving and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported us and an even bigger thank you to Jamesy and Ashleigh for making such a great show happen - lets hope next year is just a tad warmer!!
